i dont often use much grammar, like just then i started the sentence with a capital and didnt give i the I because its me (i am not entirely sure why that is) and didnt use an apostrophe. also that sentence probably isnt structured correctly, and i dont think i should use also at the start of a sentence. this is a deliberate choice. reading some dystopic science fiction and the internet in general (this was more relevant about 2-3 years ago) i feel we somehow got the idea that we should “use correct grammar, its the only way of fighting back”, and while im all for “sticking it to the man i feel we lost track of why we use grammar. grammar, and words in general, is uesd to communicate without confusion, and there is hardly a situation where absolutely correct grammar is absolutely necessary, the whole “lets eat grandma. and lets eat, grandma” is just people arguing over semantics, and not the amusing kind.
so not that anyone has but if you correct me on my grammar it will change nothing.
also i havent been on tumblr in probably over a week, and probably wont be on for longer, i have stuff to do (but really im playing video games)
if you dont listen to parov stelar then you should try this song out. it is quite amazing

RUIN - An animated short set in a post-apocalyptic universe.
its strange to see old photos reapear where others think they are new, im not being one of the dick that yells REPOST, its just strange.
its a strange feeling of nostalgia and boredom, to see something that old regain circulation, as if you were the only one to see it before, even though you know its not true.
im sure the same applys for some of the stuff i find now that i didnt find before or i didnt remember/process properly.
i dont know, its just strange for some reason.
n. the realization that each random passerby is living a life as vivid and complex as your own—populated with their own ambitions, friends, routines, worries and inherited craziness—an epic story that continues invisibly around you like an anthill sprawling deep underground, with elaborate passageways to thousands of other lives that you’ll never know existed, in which you might appear only once, as an extra sipping coffee in the background, as a blur of traffic passing on the highway, as a lighted window at dusk.
i now know a word that i have felt many a time.
usually on christmas we go down to see relatives on the central coast. it always surprises me the amount of cars on the roads, wondering where they all are going, if its to their own families or if its more than that, christmas is a day where you are not expected to leave the house(at least thats how i feel about it) unless its to see family, but all these people, they are not all going to see family, are they, for some i imagine its much more complicated, and i just want to know why
so i have a friend that calls me one of the indiest people he knows, this has lead me to the thoughts about the satisfaction of obscurity. if you find something that is small (a movie, band,) it gives you a sense of ownership, you are one of the few people that own part of that thing, and the less of you that have found it, the larger that ownership is. you also have common ground with a small amount of people that truly love what they have found.
which brings me to the second point (and probably the reason he calls me indie) love vs like. when something becomes super popular, i find it happens because (for the most part) because it appeals to the likes of the many rather than the love of a few, it is tuned to spread to the major demographics, and they dont have to love it, they just have to like it enough. there will be people that love it, i have a friend who is a major fan of anything thor, and then the avengers came out so of course he loved it. this is why i dont pay attention to whats poplar, i may like it, but i prefer to find something i love.
BIG ENOUGH TO HOLD A SMALL DOG
Elizabeth Tobey has received lots of request from people asking how big the replica loot case is that comes with the Deluxe Vault Hunter’s Collector’s Edition of Borderlands 2.
Therefore, she knew she had to release these images via Twitter of her dog demonstrating the size. Answer: It’s pretty big and made of solid plastic according to her.
Look for Borderlands 2 on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC on September 18 and get the full details on the two special editions being offered here.
